Saleem, an inspiring vocalist from the Philly Soul pantheon, strikes out on his own with his impassioned reading of Stevie Wonder’s spiritually uplifting 1987 single “You Will Know.” Saleem previously appeared for Society Hill as a guest lead vocalist with a great version of the holiday classic “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” on “Butch Ingram Presents Merry Christmas from Philadelphia, Vol. 2.” The legendary producer has long admired Jefferson’s talent and convinced the singer to record the Stevie Wonder penned gem, noting that his voice has the perfect timbre for this sensitive ballad. Butch Ingram spared no resources and assembled the Ingram Brothers band along with the famed Society Hill Orchestra to fully bring the song to life, which Saleem delivered magnificently.
